Roz Fridholm is a Fenland based artist who works primarily in clay. She was brought up in Boston, and having trained in London, Roz lived in the US for 8 years. She has produced works in her native area for the last 30 years, inspired by the natural colours of the environment and the scenery of the Fens and the North Norfiolk coast. Roz values the imperfections of Raku and creativity of unrepeatable mistakes.
A personal tragedy and the effects of the pandemic have shaped Roz's recent work, exploring the relationship and interdependency between nature and humanity. These influences have inspired the work on show in this exhibition
